My grandson Briggs is three years old. He loves to ask everyone "Hey, do you like pickles?" Briggs however does not like pickles. If he drops something he says ahh, pickle juice! This is one of the first patterns I came across when I ventured into quilting. It's a free pattern on Tula Pink's website called Moxie. Click on the pic for the pattern link.
Tula Pink released the Chipper collection in 2016. It stayed in the plastic in my archives for a long time. I was afraid to cut it. Well, this was the year I finally felt that I could do it justice.
Lessons Learned
Step 1 - Read the pattern.
Step 2 - Read the entire pattern.
Step 3 - Take the entire quilt top apart.
Step 4 - Start with Step 2.
This pattern is called Satsuma by Holly Clarke. It was free for members in the Modern Quilt Guild resource library.

My daughter Willow is an avid reader of Jane Austen books. She is an old soul. Her favorite movie is of course, Pride and Prejudice.
This pattern is called the Library of flowers. It is by the French Free Spirit designer Odile Bailloeul. She reminds me of a modern day gypsy. Click on the pic for a link to the free pattern.
